
Susana Torrado Morales has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra (1998) and a doctorate in Audiovisual Communication (2003) with a thesis entitled The Presence of Basque Cinema in Spanish Cinema Bibliography (1968-2002). Between 1998 and 2003 she combined her work as a teacher assistant for the Faculty of Communication of the above mentioned university in the subjects of Information Science for Journalist and Journalistic Research, and a predoctoral stay at the University of Montevideo (2001), where she was to return in 2004. Since 2005, she has been lecturer at the Faculty of Communication and Information Science at the University of Navarra where she lectures on Informative Audiovisual Genres. Her main line of research is focused on Audiovisual Information, particularly on the analysis of cinema information sources; the results have appeared in journal articles such as Comunicación y Sociedad, RIEV and Information Research.
